John Lloyd Cruz (born on June 24, 1983 ) is a multi award-winning Filipinoactor, model and occasional TV host.

Cruz jumpstarted off his early career appearing in numerous teen movies and TV shows. Through the years, Cruz has evolved as a mature actor as he became one of the highly praised leading men and drama actors in his generation with his critically-acclaimed roles both in movies and television. His well-known on-screen partners include the likes of Kaye Abad, Bea Alonzo andSarah Geronimo. Recently, he has been given the monicker as the Philippine's Box Office King.

Cruz is also a member of ABS-CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents properly named Star Magic where he's a Batch 5 alumni. He has been with ABS-CBN throughout of his career since he started on 1996 until present.

On the April 2009 issue of Summit Media's Yes! Magazine, he was hailed as the third most Powerful celebrity in the Philippines. The first and second places was occupied by Willie Revillame and Kris Aquino respectively.
