The youngest of three siblings, she was born on September 20, 1990 in Cebu City and raised in Davao City. After winning Star Circle Quest, she changed her last name from Gancayco to Gonzales which is her mother's maiden last name.
Gonzales is currently attending college at the Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City.
Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco , more commonly known as Erich Gonzales, is a Filipina teen actress and one of ABS-CBN's Star Magic artists. Her career began when she won as GrandQuestor in the reality talent search Star Circle National Teen Quest in 2005. She is best known for playing the roles of Waling-Waling in the teen-oriented show Abt Ur Luv and as Ella in Pieta. She has been cast in the upcoming show, Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla presents Tiagong Akyat. Her first lead role was as a teenage mother in the TV adaptation of the film Katorse. Gonzales is a host and performer as a part of ASAP 2010.
