Heart Evangelista, nervous about doing a sexy, naughty rom-com

After spending months on the campaign trail, Heart Evangelista is now looking forward to the launch of her upcoming show Juan Happy Love Story on GMA.

Premiering on GMA Pinoy TV this May 17, the series is described as a “sexy, naughty romantic-comedy” and tackles the life of a married couple played by Heart and Dennis Trillo.

In the series, the multi-talented Kapuso actress plays Happy, a feisty and family-oriented woman who relies on signs to find her “The One.”

“Medyo kinakabahan kasi naughty, sexy love story nga. But it's nice kasi masyado nang seryoso ang buhay. Kailangan nating mag-smile from time to time [I’m quite nervous since this is a naughty, sexy love story. But it’s nice because life can get too serious so we need to smile from time to time],” she told GMA News Online.

The series also stars Ms. Gloria Romero, Mr. Nick Lizaso, Gardo Versoza, Lotlot De Leon, Ericka Padilla, Joross Gamboa, Dominic Roco, Kim Domingo, among others. (30)

Beginning May 16, witness the comeback two of the country’s FITSPOs (fit inspirations)—Kapuso Network’s Drama King Dennis Trillo and Philippine TV’s Sweetheart Heart Evangelista—in an exceptionally hot and sexy series in Juan Happy Love Story premiering on GMA’s flagship international channel, GMA Pinoy TV.

This primetime show will excite viewers as they learn to appreciate their own love stories through Juan (Dennis) and Happy’s (Love) journey about how a man and a woman who are worlds apart in their views on life and love find themselves in a whirlwind romance.

In the series, Dennis Trillo is Juan, a responsible and go-getter businessman who is also a certified ‘chick boy.’ He meets Happy played by Heart Evangelista, a feisty and family-oriented woman who relies on signs to find “The One.”

Their life will be tested when they found out they cannot bear a child. As their solution, they decide to adopt a child. The lovers will then find Katkat, a 6-year-old bubbly girl. They embark on a whirlwind romance and eventually marry.

They begin to have marital problems and they decide to separate. But because it will be easier for two parents to adopt a child instead of a single parent, Happy asked Juan to live with her again so that the DSWD will grant their application for adoption. Juan agrees vowing to win Happy back.

Agatha and Bob will then try to intervene. Agatha, played by Kim Domingo, has started falling in love with her business partner, Juan. Bob, to be played by Joross Gamboa, is hoping to win his high school best friend Happy.

With Bob and Agatha’s plan to break Juan and Happy’s marriage, will they be able to legally adopt Katkat? Will they be able to create a family that they have both longed for?

Dennis Trillo and Heart Evangelista are excited for reunion project

Dennis Trillo and Heart Evangelista had their first taping day for their upcoming series on GMA Network, Juan Happy Love Story, where they portray a married couple.

Described as a “sexy and naughty romantic comedy,” the series marks the onscreen reunion of Dennis and Heart, five years after they appeared together in the GMA fantasy series, Dwarfina.

Rumors before were that Dennis had a crush on his leading lady, but nothing more than friendship ever prospered between them.

Now, Heart is happily married to Senator Chiz Escudero, while Dennis is back in the arms of his former girlfriend, Jennylyn Mercado, who incidentally was one of the bridesmaids in Heart’s wedding last year.

Joining Heart and Dennis in Juan Happy Love Story, which will premiere this April on GMA Pinoy TV, are Gloria Romero, Lotlot de Leon, Gardo Versoza, Erika Padilla, Dominic Roco, Vincent Magbanua, Kim Domingo, Rob Moya, Leanne Bautista under the direction of LA Madridejos. (30)
