MA timetable
A draft timetable for semester one 2023-24 is available below. You might also find it useful to consult the semester dates and deadlines pages.
This timetable is intended as a general overview. Once your modules have been loaded to your record and you have completed registration, you should refer to iSheffield or MyTimetable for the latest timetable information, including room locations. If you add your timetable to Google Calendar please read the notes about ensuring it will update with any changes. Click here for additional information about using MyTimetable.
To access the above timetable help pages, you need have activated your computer account as part of your pre-registration phase two activities and be logged into your Sheffield account.
Please note that for modules with multiple seminar groups, you may see both or no groups in your individual timetable to begin with - this will be updated by the start of term.
If you change modules or seminar groups this usually updates overnight.
Timetable requests 2023-24
Most MA modules only have one seminar group and so it is not possible to offer a choice of timetabled slots.
Where modules have multiple seminar groups, you will be automatically allocated to a group which fits with the rest of your timetable. We are aware that in some cases there are very good reasons why you need to have the flexibility to self select your seminar groups. For example, students with caring responsibilities, students who are commuting, and students with disabilities.
Whilst we cannot guarantee we can accommodate every request due to the capacity of rooms, and the number of groups available, however we will give every consideration to your request.
Semester one: where applicable, please complete this form by 12pm Friday 8 September 2023 to let us know about your circumstances.
Semester two: not applicable - there are no modules with multiple seminar slots at different times.
