New Study Space: Diamond Level 4

We've had some feedback this year that many of you struggle to find study space; we have fed this back to the faculty who have worked with Diamond colleagues to offer this space to A&H students: Diamond Level 4.

Wellbeing is something that we all need to work on. Men can often find it difficult to know where to start. The Men's Wellbeing Group is a space to explore common topics including physical and mental wellbeing, managing life challenges, and sharing coping strategies.

The group will be online initially with no pressure to contribute, all subjects are welcome. Facilitation by male faculty wellbeing advisers.

For updates on what we offer for students to help in their wellbeing, please check out our blog.

As well as a blog, we also record our webinars and they are able to view here.

Tuesdays 11:30-12:30  View Room 4 (Students Union Level 4)

This is a joint initiative between SEDI and the Student Wellbeing team which aims to create a welcoming wellbeing space for our diverse student communities that SEDI supports. This includes students with caring responsibilities, care leavers, estranged students, refugee and asylum seekers, BAME students, students who identify as LGBTQ+, mature students, under 18 students and more!  Students can come and grab a FREE coffee and have the chance to meet students from other backgrounds, access support, and discuss any wellbeing needs.

We’ve teamed up with Umii - a free app designed to help students make friends and connections at the University based on their interests, course and societies. It launched just last week and already has over 100 students signed up! SEDI is piloting this project for a year and we would be happy to come and talk to your team about promoting this to your students.
