Incoming Study Abroad students

Welcome to the Department of History's incoming visiting students' page

The Department of History was founded in 1896 and has an outstanding reputation built upon a rich tradition. Based in the award-winning Jessop West building, we are located centrally at the heart of the University campus. The department has been home to many celebrated historians, who have taught and researched here, in a huge variety of fields which range from the ancient Middle East to Modern Vietnam.
