This page provides careers information relevant to Postgraduate Research students.

The PREP Scheme

The PREP scheme enables PGRs to apply for a bursary (between £100 and £1000) to help them undertake an internship, work-shadowing experience, explore career ideas and develop additional skills and attributes. The bursary can be used to pay for accommodation, travel, salary costs or other fees to help them create their own work based learning experience that fits with their existing commitments.

The scheme has 4 application rounds, the closing date for each round can be found on the PREP webpage. Unsuccessful applicants can apply again for a later round with a revised or new application.

Further information can be found on the PREP webpage. Questions regarding PREP can be sent to prep@sheffield.ac.uk
