Leading Lines/Repetition

Most likely my favorite final print of the entire quarter. For this project, I took a roll of film of leading lines and grouping and repetition. At the time, I was in Andover Mass at Phillips Academy Andover. So I was on a school campus which made everything more interesting. There are a few photos on the contact sheet and in the negatives that were mistakes. I was trying to figure out if the camera was actually taking photos, and apparently it was. Many of these photos are backlit, as I was mainly looking through windows or there were windows in the photo plane as I was taking photos of something else. This makes it so that some photos are very light as others are very dark. The photo that I chose for my final print is an image of a bouquet of flowers on a window sill with the lines in the old apartment windows leading straight into the flowers. I also liked the image looking down the stairs but I really enjoyed the contrast in color in the flower picture while the stairs didn't have a large range in contrast. Overall, this image is my favorite final print in this whole quarter due to its range in black and whites and the silhouette of the flowers.
