Artist Inspired

For this assignment, we were given a list of contemporary photographers, and we were asked to choose two photographers to take photos inspired by their style. After looking at all of the given artist's websites, I decided upon Evan Baden and David Hillard. Both with very different styles. Evan Baden captured a great amount of emotion, while David Hillard did so, but in a different way. Baden has isolation, but Hillard creates emotion by splitting up the photos and creating a physical space between the different slices of the photos. By doing this, and emotional distance is captured as well. I very much enjoyed this project because I was able to explore different styles of contemporary photography, while taking and editing photos myself.
