Final Design

For our final project this year, we were told that we could create any kind of art using the skills that we have learned this year. I decided to create a series of three paintings, in the minimalist style, using my knowledge of paint mixing that I obtained after doing the 84 color project. This was a series of plants. I used green as a base color, then I made multiple shades and tints in order to get the realistic effect of the plants. First, I made the 2 big leaf ones. Then I made the "shrubby weed", and finally the fern. I very much enjoyed this project because the guidelines were very vague yet descriptive. I got to choose what I was going to. This reflects upon my personality, my likes, and my dislikes.
