Every one of us, regardless of our experience or tenure, needs training to stay effective in our roles. Whether you've been with us for a decade or just started last week, it's crucial to continually update our knowledge and skills. This ongoing education allows us to keep pace with new technology, industry trends, and the evolving demands of our jobs. By staying informed, we can better serve our clients, understand the needs of our prospects and members, and efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This commitment to continuous learning and skill development is what helps us maintain a high standard of service and keeps our organization at the forefront of the industry.
As you integrate a new staff member into your team, there's a critical step to ensure they receive the appropriate training and orientation. Please make a copy of the training checklist template and add it to your club's designated folder. This checklist is a comprehensive guide designed to help new employees understand their roles and responsibilities, as well as the systems and procedures that are unique to our organization. It covers everything from safety protocols to customer service practices and ensures that our new hires are well-prepared to contribute effectively from day one.
To access the template, locate the shared drive link below. This link will take you to a central repository where you'll find all the necessary documents for onboarding and training. Simply navigate to your club's folder, make a copy of the checklist template, and customize it to meet the specific needs of your team. If you have any questions about the process or need additional resources, don't hesitate to reach out to our training and development coordinator. They're here to support you and ensure that every new team member has a smooth transition into our community.
MC and ACM Training:
The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the training of Member Consultants (MC) and Assistant Club Managers (ACM).
As the Club Manager monitors their progress, they will mark off each section of the checklist on the 'Training Checked' Excel sheet once the employee is deemed fully trained and competent.
Club Manager Training:
Catherine and Tash are responsible for reviewing the training progress of Club Managers.
They will check the relevant training looms and mark off the checklist to confirm that the Club Manager has completed their training to the required standard.
This system ensures that all new staff members are effectively trained and that there is oversight at each level of the process.
Please watch this loom explaining how this training checklist works
