Your time is your most valuable asset, you can’t get more so you just have to use what you have better. This means trusting items on your "to do" list to the right people so that you can free up your own time to take on the things only you can do.
To start with, write a list of all the categories you do on a weekly basis like so:
e.g. Emails
e.g. Marketing
e.g. Outgoing prospect calls

You should now have a good idea of what tasks are consuming your time. Now take each task number and place them into a grid in the relevant square, sorted by High and Low Skill VS High and Low Fun like so:
From here, we can now work out what you need to delegate to your team first.
High Skill High Fun: The tasks in the high Skill and high Fun corner are yours, hold onto them. They require your skill set and you enjoy doing them.
Low Skill Low Fun: Those tasks that end up in the bottom left corner, that you feel do not require much skill (or you are not skilled in it at all) and you just find no enjoyment out of it yourself, let's delegate those tasks off first. You never know, someone else might love doing this task or might have a much greater skill set for it than yourself
Still need to free up even more time? Lets continue then:
High Skill Low Fun: These tasks are the ones that really require an extensive skill set but really are not much fun to you. If you have not completed this already, this would be the moment where you should familiarise yourself with D.I.S.C profiling. Whilst you may find numbers and account information very low fun, there are people out there who enjoy it. Review your team and see if anyone has the skill set to take this task on, OR if anyone would enjoy this task and let's invest the time to teach them how to complete it. A bit of extra work to train someone up, will result in a large relief for you in the future
Low Skill High Fun: These are the final tasks for you to delegate. They may not require much skill but they give you great satisfaction completing them. They might also be good "trade" tasks that you can part with to say thank you to the team member who takes over a low skill low fun task.
