We have now established that we need to hire a Personal Trainer we will then go through our recruitment process. Our recruitment process goes as following:
Open a job alert on indeed: This will allow applicants to start applying and help us go start our recruitment process. You can also put posts on social media for any members who might be interested in applying.
Contact applicants: Now we need to start contacting our applicants. We recommend calling and if they don't answer, leave a voicemail and send an sms to introduce your self and follow up. If you don't like their first impression of the applicant you can click the "X" to move them on. Please keep in mind they might be nervous when do you call them. If they answer you need to ask them the questions from the call interview script.
Zoom interview: If you like them on the phone we then invite them into a zoom interview (can be group) to get to know them a bit better and talk to them over a video call. If you have a few candidates that you would like to interview you can get them on a great call to be more time efficient but we recommend not inviting inviting more than 6 people to the interview. You can then add your group zoom to the "group zoom interview" google doc. With the time and applicants attached. In the group zoom you want to ask the applicants the questions from "PT Interview Questions" script. If you are impressed with the applicant you then invite them into club for an in person interview.
In person interview/trial shift: The in person interview is now the chance for us to get to know them better. We need to make sure we organise this with both the Club Manager and Rob so that we can be certain they will suit the team and put 100% effort into the club.
Hired: We now will start the onboarding process.
The Onboarding process is something that we all must go through to insure the best possible outcome for retention. We can forget how important this process is! Did you know:
69% of employees are more likely to stay with a company for three years if they experienced great onboarding
20% of employee turnover happens in the first 45-90 days
Only 12% of employees strongly agree their organisation does a great job of onboarding new employees
Employees with an exceptional onboarding experience are 2.6 times as likely to be extremely satisfied with their place of work
New employees typically take around 12 months to reach their full performance potential within a role - meaning organisations should really think of onboarding as a much longer journey than just the first few days.
With that in mind... LET'S BEGIN
Pre-boarding is what we need to be completed prior to their first day. The below button will give you an email template to email over to the new employee. Please attach a copy of their Personal Trainer Contract and our Code of Conduct.
Please email a copy of the agreement to charlene.malone@anytimefitness.com.au , shiela.agbon@anytimefitness.com.au and rob.leroux@anytimefitness.com.au
It Is important we make sure Sheila has a copy of all of the important documents on file. From each PT we need:
Signed PT Agreement
Signed Code of Conduct
Valid First Aid and Basic Life Support Certification
Valid CPR Certification
Valid Insurance
