The Onboarding process is something that we all must go through to gain our wings, however we can forget how important this process is! Did you know:h
69% of employees are more likely to stay with a company for three years if they experienced great onboarding
20% of employee turnover happens in the first 45-90 days
Only 12% of employees strongly agree their organisation does a great job of onboarding new employees
Employees with an exceptional onboarding experience are 2.6 times as likely to be extremely satisfied with their place of work
New employees typically take around 12 months to reach their full performance potential within a role - meaning organisations should really think of onboarding as a much longer journey than just the first few days.
With that in mind... LET'S BEGIN
Pre-boarding is what we need completed prior to their first day. The below button will give you an email template to email over to the new employee. Please attach a copy of their Employment Agreement, Roles and Responsibilities and Code of Conduct.
Sometimes there isnt enough time to complete the pre-boarding i.e. the new employees first day is less than a week away.
If this is the case, please go over the below on Day 1.
Every causal employee needs to be sent the below statment aswell
Next is to go over our "Code of Conduct" and "employee handbook" and get our newbie to sign this form followed by sending a copy of all signed documents including their Employment agreement and Roles and responsibilities to to Charlene, Natasha, Sheila and Sammi).
We are a Bully free environment and breaches on the Code of Conduct or Bullying will not be accepted
Before they start we need their info so we can pay them, please get your new team member to complete this form and submit it to Charlene so that we can add them to our payroll.
Once you have emailed them their contract of employment and relevant documents above. Its time to organise their onboarding training. first you will need to set up their training checklist

They'll stay as your support until everything in those 3 modules are marked as ‘Intermediate’. Take your time training, your OM or GM will have to confirm your competency before you can move on. They will do this by watching your loom videos as proof that you have been trained on this and understand everything. Then it can be marked off.
After that, you will transition to your own club and do 1 hour of training per day until everything in the modules is at ‘Expert’. Then they’ll start weekly training until everything is checked off.
Please don’t rush with the training, take your time! Call out if you need any help, but thanks again and have fun!
NOTE: send separate email to their home club asking for them to make sure they still add them into their deputy.
