The Pure Planet Project, which started as a small idea among friends, has grown into a platform for real change, focusing on sustainability, education, and community-driven solutions. Our goal has always been to address environmental and social issues through hands-on initiatives.
What made this project truly transformative was the collaboration with the local community. We didn’t just implement solutions; we worked alongside the people, ensuring our impact was sustainable. Educating the community on waste segregation, water conservation, and sustainable practices gave them the tools to continue these efforts beyond our visit. The experience reinforced our belief that change isn’t about imposing solutions but about empowering people to create their own.
One of our most impactful projects was organizing trash pickups in various provinces and regions in Thailand, one of which was Nakhon Nayok. This effort highlighted the widespread issue of waste management and encouraged individuals from different backgrounds to come together for a common cause. Another memorable project involved creating natural mosquito repellents, combining scientific research with real-world problem-solving. By using locally sourced ingredients, we provided a sustainable alternative that helped communities reduce their risk of mosquito-borne diseases.
Beyond our environmental efforts, we also reflect on the "What If" Project, an initiative that initially began as our CAS project but later evolved into something else. Our goal was to create a website with informational videos highlighting student struggles like academic pressure, mental health, and social expectations. We wanted students to recognize that their struggles were valid, while also providing teachers and parents insight into challenges they might not always see. This project was a testament to the importance of raising awareness and fostering open conversations about issues that often go unnoticed.
Although the “What If” Project took a different direction, its core idea remained relevant. Both the Pure Planet and What If projects were driven by the power of awareness—whether it was environmental sustainability or mental health advocacy. Through these initiatives, we learned that meaningful change starts with education, collaboration, and a willingness to take action.
