You can view inventory information (e.g. quantities in stock), update stock quantities, receive and issue goods using the Mobile App.
The Mobile App works on touchscreen devices and desktops. For purposes of this tutorial, we use Tap to mean Left-Click or Tap.

ℹ️ QR Codes are generated from the Item Codes. The longer the Item Code is, the more complex the QR Code is and the less likely that the code will be scanned correctly from a distance or with a basic scanner.
In BOS Enterprise (desktop), navigate to Main Menu > Reports > Custom Reports.
From the dropdown list next to Select, select Item QR Codes.
Click the item you want to generate a QR Code for.
Click Output (button) > Print to print to your default printer.
Click Output (button) > Preview to view the code and print it to a different printer.
In BOS Enterprise (desktop), navigate to User Rights (Main Menu > Setup > Settings > Users (tab) > Double-click a Username).
Type Mobile in the search block and navigate to this setting: Mobile App > Inventory - Access Allowed.
Select one of these options:
None
View only (Search): Allows users to search for an item using text by default.
View only (Scan): Allows users to scan a QR Code that represents the item's code by default.
Full Access (Search): Allows users to search for an item using text by default and to update inventory transactions.
Full Access (Scan): Allows users to scan a QR Code that represents the item's code by default and to update inventory transactions.
From the main menu, tap Inventory.
Choose Search or Scan QR:
Search:
Tap Search.
In the search block, type an Item Name or Code.
From the list of items that meet the search criteria, tap the item you want to view.
Scan QR:
Tap Scan QR.
A popup message may appear asking for camera access. You must grant this permission.
Point your device's camera at the QR Code or hold a QR Code in front of your camera.
An Inventory screen is divided into two tabs. The first displays all the Sell Prices linked to the item, and the second displays the Quantities in Stock, On Order, Reserved and Available at each Location.
ℹ️ If you do not have Full Access permission (see above), the option to Update Stock does not appear on the context menu.
View an Inventory Item as explained above.
Tap the applicable Location (e.g. Warehouse) and choose Update Stock from the context menu.
A window displays the Location and Unit. Type the new Quantity in the block provided below the information.
Note: The quantity replaces the quantity that was entered for that location.
Tap Submit (button) to submit the changes to the desktop app.
Note: Tap Cancel (button) to discard the changes.
If successfully saved, a confirmation is displayed, and a Stock Check Transaction is entered in BOS Enterprise at yesterday's date with the Status of Complete.
