Navigate to Items (e.g. Main Menu > Items > Items).
Click Menu (button) > Edit Inventory Locations.
Click New (button) and fill in the form that is opened as follows:
Name = Type a name for the Location.
Code = Type a short and descriptive Code for the Location.
Customer = Select a Customer from the dropdown list of customers (optional).
Supplier = Select a Supplier from the dropdown list of suppliers (optional).
ℹ️ You can limit where the location is used by allocating it to specific Transaction Types, including Transaction Types that are used for Estimates, and Categories. If you do not allocate the location, the location is available to all the transaction types and categories.
Click Transactions (tab)
Click Edit Transactions (button).
Select the Available Transaction Types you want to allow and click the arrow ▶ to move them to the Selected block.
Deselect Transaction Types by moving them back to the Available section using the ◀ arrow.
Click OK (button).
Click Estimates (tab)
Click Edit Estimates (button).
Select the Available Transaction Types that have estimating enabled and click the arrow ▶ to move them to the Selected block.
Deselect Estimates by moving them back to the Available section using the ◀ arrow.
Click OK (button).
Navigate to Categories (tab) (Optional).
Click Edit Categories (button).
Select the Available Categories you want to allow and click the arrow ▶ to move them to the Selected block.
Deselect Categories by moving them back to the Available section using the ◀ arrow.
Click OK (button).
Click the block below Bin No. and list any Bin Numbers applicable to the location, one entry per line.
Click Save (button).
Note: The Linked Items (tab) will automatically display any linked items as they are created.
Navigate to Main Menu > Items > Items.
Click Menu (button) > Edit Inventory Locations.
Double-click the Location you want to edit.
Edit the Location as needed (See How to Create a Location above for more information.)
Navigate to Main Menu > Items > Items.
Click Menu (button) > Edit Inventory Locations.
Right-click the Location you want to delete and select Delete Location from the context menu.
