Files can be uploaded or linked to data such as Customers, Suppliers, Items, and Transactions.
For Customers, Suppliers, and Items attachments are created from the Attachments tab.
For Transactions, notes and attachments are added by clicking Actions (button) > Add Attachment/Link from the transaction.
Users may only Edit or Delete attachments they added.
Desktop: Attachments are a built-in feature and no settings are required.
Tracker App: There is a general setting to enable attachments for Timekeeping.
ℹ️ The Attachments Tab is added to Customers and Suppliers by default. It is one of the tabs that may be added to Items.
Add Attachment: Opens an interface from where an attachment can be linked or uploaded.
Attachments are listed with the following information (and punctuation):
Name of the attachment - User who uploaded it: Date it was uploaded.
User who last accessed it: Date on which it was last accessed.
Right-click Context Menu:

Description: A field to type a description for the attachment.
Type: A dropdown list to select one of these types:
Document (.pdf)
File
Link (Default option)
Image (.jpg, .png)
URL/Filename:
A field to paste a URL.
... : Users can click the ellipses on the URL/Filename field to open a file browser and select the file from their local drive.
Open (button): Opens the attachment.
Save (button): Saves any changes.
Close (button): Closes the Edit Attachment popup.
ℹ️ Attachments can be added by clicking Actions (button) > Add/Attachment/Link. Once clicked a Notes and Attachments Panel is opened on the right along with the Edit Attachment popup.
The panel displays notes and attachments applicable to the transaction flow, and attachments linked to items used in the transaction.
Top Line: Transaction Code and Number.
Linked to Company: Checkbox. If checked the attachment is linked to the company.
Expand: Checkbox. If checkbox notes are expanded.
Add (button):
Attachment: Adds an attachment.
Note: Adds a general note.
Phone Call: Adds a note with the heading Phone Call.
Video Call: Adds a note with the heading Video Call.
Message: Adds a note with the heading Message Call.
Visit: Adds a note with the heading Visit.
Demo: Adds a note with the heading Demo.
Task: Adds a note with the heading Task.
Refresh icon (button): Refreshes the display to include notes or attachments created since the panel was opened.
Chain Link icon (button): Synchronises the Notes and Attachments with the open transactions.

Linked Images (.jpg, .png) can be used on output templates using the following data pipelines:
Images_Item: Displays images linked to Items (directly or from the Linked Item or the Linked Transaction Item)
Images_Items: Displays all images linked to items used in the transaction.
When a machine is selected in a Flexo Tooling estimate, the MachineID is copied to VATITEMS.MATUNITID field.
This links allows the attachments linked to the machine to be displayed as part of the Transaction's notes and attachments.
Images can be hosted online and linked to document templates.
