Estimating - When an Assembly is added to an Estimate, it is now expanded by default. The icons for the Expand/Collapse buttons have been updated to be consistent with the other modules. If General Estimate is the only option under the Transaction > Add Estimate button, it is automatically executed when the Estimate button is clicked (Previously a popup menu with only one item would open).
Estimating - A new field, Qty Calc (QTYCALC) has been added to Items and can be updated in the Estimating tab of the Edit view or on the Estimating View (Manually or with a Batch Update). This field can be used in Estimate Types to update the Qty on Items in the Input table. Concept: You select a Product (Item) in the Estimate Type which adds a complete bill of Materials and Services from the selected Items linked Costing. A stored procedure is then used to update quantities on the materials and services based on values of other input fields, like depth and width, and the Qty Calc value. (See the BE Signage demo).
Estimating - A new field, Qty_x_Parent has been added to the data pipeline Est_Service_Mat - this field displays the Material Qty x Parent Qty. The pipeline is typically used to output a Workticket.
Item Summary > Inventory > Serial Numbers (View) - By default, only the serial numbers that are in stock are now displayed. All the Transactions linked to a Serial Number can still be viewed in the Inventory Module > Serial Numbers View.
Service Manager > Projects > A function has been added to the task's popup menu to Open Timekeeping.
Transactions - when a Transaction is copied and the conditions below are met, the target transaction currency is converted to the Company currency:
Target transaction allows foreign currency
Source Transaction is local currency
Company uses foreign currency
(Example: A foreign Supplier is paid from a local currency bank account: Forex Payment Transaction (local currency) copied to Supplier Payment Transaction (foreign currency).
Work Shifts - An End Day has been added to allow for a shift to run across multiple days with gaps in between shifts. When a Work shift is updated, a table (WORKSHIFTSCHEDULING) is populated with the shifts for the next ten years. This table makes scheduling easier and can be updated by clicking Actions (button) > Rebuild while in Edit View. The Production Planning modules have been updated to support this change.
Note
If a Work shift contains a blank Day or Time, the Work shift table is not updated.
A 24-hour shift must be setup like: Mon 00:00 > Tue 00.00
