Displaying an Item Summary is available from several context menus (right-click menus) such as Transactions and Item Lists. It can also be added to any Menu Group, by clicking the Fixed radio button. If the Item Summary is added to a menu, it is also added to the Recent list. By default it opens a panel on the right with information about the item. The item summary is unavailable for custom items because that information is only stored in the specific transaction.
This tutorial explains how to use an Item Summary to view information about the item.
ℹ️ On the Item Summary, the View (button) on the top row works with the Search field and always opens the Search (tab).
ℹ️ Most lists and transactions that include items have the option to right-click an item and select View Item Summary from the context menus.
Navigate to any report or transaction that has items (e.g. Main Menu > Production > Work Orders > Double-click a Work Order to open it or Main Menu > Items > Items > Menu (button) > Default).
