For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with is: Silk Road Cities Across the Years
I wanted to create a visualization that would allow users to see the population change over time in each city that's along the silk road.
In my visualization, the data is represented as ellipses where the higher the population, the bigger the ellipse.
To interact with the visualization, try clicking on the screen to see the cities population change every 50 years.
One interesting thing I noticed during this project is for most of the time the population kept getting higher every 50 years.
Something I still wonder about is how the people who created this data actually was able to find the exact population for each city.
