For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with a data set that shows the amount of deaths from the flu for people over the age of 65 per country.
I wanted to create a visualization that would allow users to see which countries have the most deaths from the flu easil
In my visualization, the data is represented as dots on a map of the world with different colors. The colors represent the amount of deaths from the flu with red being more death and green being less deaths.
To interact with the visualization, try to zoom in and out and highlight over the dots to see exactly how many deaths on average are from that country.
One interesting thing I noticed during this project is Europe generally has very little deaths while Africa generally has a lot.
Something I still wonder about is how many people under the age of 65 die from the flu per country?
