For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with a data set that showed what percentage of national economies were tourism based.
I wanted to create a visualization that would allow users to scan through many different countries and compare how tourism effected each economy.
In my visualization, the data is represented as dots on a map that, when hovered over, reveals more data about the percentages of the economy.
To interact with the visualization, try hovering over the dots.
One interesting thing I noticed during this project is I can see how much more tourism island nations get compared to inland nations.
Something I still wonder about is is there a correlation between economy size and percentage of economy which is tourism based.
