For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with Economic Contributions to Tourism from the UN World Tourism Organization.
I wanted to create a visualization that would allow users to see and compare the amount of tourism between countries.
In my visualization, the data is represented as a bar graph with each bar representing a year (from 2008 - 2020).
To interact with the visualization, try hovering over the bars to get the exact percentage of contributions to tourism for that year in that country.
Red bars = Canada
Blue bars = Spain
One interesting thing I noticed during this project is that each country stayed consistent throughout the years other than a decrease in both countries in 2020.
Something I still wonder about is other countries, and how their tourism rate has fluctuated through the years.
