In 1973, Doors Incorporated from DesMoines, IA opened a small fabrication and distribution facility to service the Quad-Cities and surrounding areas.

In the mid 80's the Quad-City area was in the middle of a construction recession, the manager of the branch bought it to keep the doors from closing. The new company was named Doors Inc. Davenport. The company grew and in 2000 built a new facility. Offering consulting and fabrication along with installation, locksmith and inspection services, Doors Inc. now has seven locations with its home office located in Des Moines.
