Brianne Canova has more than 15 years of combined experience in public and private accounting, serving clients in the construction and real estate industry, as well as employee benefit plan clients in various industries. Her primary focus is on working with construction contractors, and she manages and executes audit, review, and compilation engagements and provides a wide range of technical accounting services to them. Through consistent interaction with her clients, Brianne enjoys gaining a thorough understanding of their business and assisting clients in creating solutions to fit their needs.

Scot Dobbs, provides tax planning and compliance services to individuals and businesses, from small to large, within the health care, manufacturing, and construction and real estate industries. Clients count on Scot to proactively assist them with reducing their overall tax exposure while also working on strategies to maintain positive cash flow to their business. He also provides compensation planning, transactional due diligence and consulting, and strategic services to health care groups. Due to a background in financial and insurance services, Scot brings additional value to his individual and business clients by helping them confirm all financial plans are in sync.

Mark Elliott has more than 22 years of experience dedicated to providing manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, contractors, and other closely held businesses—ranging in size from $5 million to $200 million in revenue—with expert information to assist in managing many aspects of their businesses. Developing a strong and productive business relationship, along with a thorough understanding of his clients’ business, is a top priority for him. Mark enjoys assisting clients in problem solving and providing timely and creative responses to questions and issues.

David Lindgren is a partner in Wipfli LLP’s Rockford office. He is a member of the Business Advisory Services group. David concentrates on tax work and is involved heavily in family business accounting and consulting, compilation, review, and audit.

David was a staff accountant in 1984 at Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol & Co. Ltd. (LCV) and has been a partner since 2001 (LCV merged with Wipfli in 2010).

Ron Rudolph is a certified public accountant with 30-plus years of accounting and tax experience. As a partner at Wipfli LLP, he serves a diverse client base including clients in the construction and real estate practice and in the manufacturing and distribution practice. Ron’s extensive accounting and tax experience enables him to understand the challenges businesses face in this ever-changing economic climate. He also oversees the audits of several employee benefit plans. Ron enjoys helping people who appreciate the professional assistance he brings.

Jason Smith leads the managed cloud and packaged solutions consulting practice in Wipfli LLP’s Northern Illinois Region and serves as the point lead for technology consulting in the firm’s construction and real estate practice. With more than 17 years of strategic technology experience, he helps organizations identify challenges, execute processes, and optimize their expenses. Jason assists them with meeting their business and technology objectives through innovative solutions and strategic leadership. His clients see him as a trusted business partner who can provide an invaluable perspective on their technology, financial, and operational needs.
