Formally established in 1919, Herlihy Mid-Continent Company has nearly 100 years of experience in heavy highway construction. With this intensive experience under our belt we have built and reconstructed over a thousand bridges for local, state and federal municipalities.

Starting in Downtown Chicago, Herlihy Mid-Continent Company began its journey by constructing buildings and other structures around the City of Chicago. Now, while bridges remain our core specialty we also use our skills and experience to build large retaining walls, toll plazas, pump stations, and other concrete structures. Our team of dedicated employees and a deep commitment to safety and quality has enabled HMC to complete the most challenging projects ahead of schedule and exceed owner’s expectations.

Behind our employees, equipment is our most important resource. We are a heavy construction companies who own, operate, and maintain their own fleet of equipment.

OUR SOLUTIONS ARE AS DIVERSE AS THE PROJECTS WE DELIVER.
