Located at 115 N. Second Street, the Inglaterra Ballroom opened in 1918 as a dance hall. Between World War I and World War II, people and soldiers from Camp Grant came to dance to the sound of the Big Bands.
In the early 1930's the Inglaterra Ballroom became Cas Loma, a dining and dancing establishment.
And in 1938, the business was sold and the new owners remodeled the building to focus on the new roller skating craze. The Ing Roller Skating Palace (Ing) became the place to be.
Eventually the building was sold in 2005 and demolished for a parking lot.
