Wilson Electric Company on Cusp of its Centennial
It is somewhat ironic and remarkable that Wilson Electric Company is a year away from celebrating its 100th consecutive year of operation while NIBCA marks that milestone in 2018.
Wilson is owned and operated by four partners with Louie Maffioli acting as President. Louie serves as Governor of the local National Electrical Contractors Assoc. (NECA) chapter as well as Co-Chairman of Project First Rate, a Labor-Management consortium.
Joining Louie are partners, Paul Maffioli and Steve Drummond (Vice-Presidents) and Joel Kortemeier, CFO. The next generation at Wilson Electric is represented by Nik Maffioli, estimator/project manager.
Wilson Electric is known for the wide breadth of its service capacity. At home with large complex projects, requiring coordinated crews of specialists working all hours of the day to simple household repairs for long time customers, Wilson Electric continues as an industry leader in Northern Illinois.
The company is also a pacesetter in safety innovation, cutting edge equipment and regular rigorous training.
It is most proud, however, of its employees who are good and caring citizens, as well as competent practitioners.
Ninety-nine years is no sure thing in our industry; but it is a sure sign of quality.
Emil Maffioli and Paul Wilson started Maffioli-Wilson Electric in 1919.
Wilson Electric has had the privilege of working with a diverse group of clients on many different types of projects.
