Please join the NCS Student Services Department for a Parent University screening of the film Screenagers: Under the Influence. This film explores the role of substance use and abuse in the lives of teens. In today’s world, it is assumed that almost every teen will see images of substance use and abuse on television, in film, in social media, and through other screens in their lives. They are very likely to know other young people who use substances, and many, at some point, may try those substances for themselves.
This screening is for adult caregivers of NCS students. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the film will start promptly at 7:00pm.

The mental and physical well-being of our students is important to Natomas Charter School. We are supportive of students making use of our on-campus resources and assist families in helping their students attend on-going therapeutic appointments through excused absences. Since returning to school we have noticed an increase in students attending medical and counseling appointments via telehealth (phone calls and video conferences) during the school day. Students may not attend telehealth appointments while at school. This presents a significant safety concern, the school cannot guarantee confidentiality of the appointment, and we do not have spaces available on campus for students to hold these appointments. If your student has a need to attend on-going telehealth appointments please check them out of school as you would for an in-person appointment.
Details: As part of our commitment to providing the best educational experiences for our students, we continue to rebuild our field lesson programs and ensure teachers and student are getting the supplies they need. Please see our new Donations and Field Lessons pages as we work to provide more clarity and resources around financial donations for field trips, supplies, and specialty classes.
Details: We had an increase in Fee Waivers for our Yosemite trip. As a result we decided to do a little fundraising! We have signed up with Snap Raise, which is a very easy platform to cover the cost of your student's trip. Head over to our donations page to sign up today!
