8th graders visited Washington DC for the first time since COVID. Thank you to Mrs. Bibayoff and all the parents for making it happen for this group. They had a blast!
Our community shared and celebrated our diverse cultures. It was a beautiful sight to see our Leading Edge students dancing, sharing fashion, doing crafts, and much more.
Big thank you to this awesome group of parents for support our 6th Grade Greek Olympics!

This week Dr. Addie Ellis let us know that she will not be returning to Natomas Charter School. We appreciate her contributions to our school and wish her well on her new endeavors. For the remainder of this school year, Dr. Joe Wood, Laura Bariel and academy principals will be filling this vacancy. Becky Bryant, a retired special education administrator with over 40 years of experience, will also be supporting our Inclusive Education team in serving students with disabilities. If you have questions regarding support for your child please contact your academy principal.
The mental and physical well-being of our students is important to Natomas Charter School. We are supportive of students making use of our on-campus resources and assist families in helping their students attend on-going therapeutic appointments through excused absences. Over the past few months we have noticed an increase in students attending medical and counseling appointments via telehealth (phone calls and video conferences) during the school day. Students may not attend telehealth appointments while at school. This presents a significant safety concern and the school cannot guarantee confidentiality of the appointment. If your student has a need to attend on-going telehealth appointments please check them out of school as you would for an in-person appointment.
