Minimum Day Monday, February 26→ Bell Schedule 

• •  Overview:  Monday, February 26 is a minimum day.  Please note the schedule changes and work with your student to remind them throughout the week. 

  • Purpose: Our staff has special time to focus on large academy initiatives. This Monday, our staff will be continuing to integrate our academy Pillars into their curriculum, while developing our comprehensive three-year student portfolio process.  Student portfolios are an intergral part of the Leading Edge program. 

  • Dismissal: 12 :35 pm    

End of Trimester 2→ March 1

• • Overview: We are finishing Trimester 2 and headed to the last trimester of the year. Student have a few days to turn in any late work and retake assessment to ensure they demonstrate mastery of the learning objectives from trimester 2. 

Safety Update →  Spring Drills 

• • Overview:  At Leading Edge, we practice two safety drills a month. Our goal is to ensure that our students and staff are confident and prepared. We have one evacuation drill a month accompanied by specialized drills like lockdown and earthquake drills.  Check out the spring drills link for more information about them.
