As we prepare for the 2023-24 school year, we are excited to announce two schoolwide leadership transitions. Petra Luhrsen will be joining our school in the coming year as our Student Services Director. Petra is currently a principal in the San Juan USD and a former Star Academy teacher. Amy Kahler will be stepping into our Special Education Director role. Amy is currently the Star Academy Principal and has been both a teacher and administrator at NCS since 2013. The Star Academy Principal position has been posted on EdJoin and we look forward to filling it as soon as possible. If you have anyone you know who would be interested in the position. The entire administrative team and Amy Kahler will be working with Franchesca Donato and the incoming principal to ensure a smooth transition for Star families, staff and the community.
