Before and After School Expectations 

• Before School

  1. Drop Off: Please do not drop your student off prior to 7:45 am.

  2. Early Drop Off Option: If you must drop off a little early, our Knights Landing program will accept students at 7:30, but you must drop them off in the back parking lot by the cafeteria.

  1. Knights Landing: 

     • All students staying on campus after school will check in to our Knights Landing Program.

     • Knights Landing offers after-school care, enrichment activities, study skills support, math tutoring, and more.

     • We are flexible and work with families on costs, including fee waivers and sibling discounts.

     • Please complete the registration and speak with our staff before worrying about costs.

Leading Edge Sports →   6th Grade Volleyball and Football 

• Overview: Fall sports are open to girls and boys as both football and volleyball are coed. 

  • Volleyball Tryouts - Wednesday, August 14th at 3:00 p.m. 

  • Football Clinic - Monday, August 12th at 3:00 p.m.

• Overview:  The Knight News is our hub for parent communication. Please see the screencast below with an overview of the features and things that you can access here. Our Leading Edge website is primarily for general information for families new to or interested in Leading Edge. 

We use PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) to encourage good behavior in students. A big part of this is the 5:1 ratio, which means for every correction, we give five positive comments. This helps kids feel supported and more likely to keep up the good behavior.

Your child has been learning to ROCK (Respect, Ownership, Cooperation, and Kindness) in all areas of the school. By following this approach, we make sure students know what’s expected, build trust with adults, and encourage each other to do their best.
