Sleep is Essential:
Studies show that middle schoolers need 9-12 hours of sleep every night.
Put Away Electronics
Parent should remove cellphones and electronic devices from bedrooms by 7:00 p.m.
This allows students to create a natural circadian rhythm and avoid unhealthy cellphone behaviors.
Healthy Habits
A balanced diet positively impacts learning. Adding some spinach to a morning smoothie or eating that apple at lunch is a good start. Check out these videos below, especially the one on broccoli!
