7th Grade Field Trip - UC Davis 

• Date: February 27   Location: UC Davis     Time: 8:15 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.     

• Details:  Our 7th graders are headed to the Mondavi Center, the Bohart Museum, and a on tour of UC Davis. This is a way for our students to begin thinking about college. Please pay a $25 donation and complete your student's permission slip. Students are asked to bring sack lunches or request one from school, as there will not be time to buy lunch at UCD.  

End of Trimester 2

• Details: Trimester 2 is almost over. Students are encouraged to take advantage of office hours, study hall, and our tutoring programs, as they seek to achieve academic excellence. 

Rally Schedule and Learning Lab Update 

• Date: March 3     Time: Bell Schedule 

• Details:  Learning Lab Session #3 ends today. Students participated in futsal,  DIY crafting, sign language (ASL), yearbook, leadership, fitness, storytelling, film making, escape room, and chess.  At the end of every Learning Lab session we have a spirit rally to celebrate and build school culture. 

iReady Diagnostic #3 

• Dates:  March 6 - March 10

• Details: 

  • Why iReady: iReady is an important part of our program. Students take three "diagnostic" assessments throughout the year to measure their growth in reading and math.  Teachers use that data to inform their instruction. iReady also sets the students up on a personalized learning path (My Path) that they can use in school or at home. If your student needs extra practice, this is a resource we encourage you to use. 

  • Reward:  Students that show growth in both reading and math or test at or above grade level will receive a popcorn party. 

Natomas USD Superintendent Search

Natomas USD is currently in the process of hiring a new district superintendent and the search committee would like your feedback. You can participate through in-person and virtual community forums this evening, as well as through an online survey.
