Mark your calendars! On October 1st at 6:00pm students from Natomas Charter School, NP3, and Westlake will be hosting a forum in the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center to ask candidates for the upcoming school board election how they plan to support charter schools in our community. Parents, students, and community members are encouraged to attend.
This is a great opportunity to ask about facilities and overall options for students in the Natomas area. This year there are three open seats on the Natomas USD school board including Trustee Area 5 (Paso Verde, Witter Ranch, and NP3 neighborhoods), Trustee Area 3 (Star Academy, Blackrock campus, Natomas Park Elementary, Inderkum, and Heredia-Arriaga neighborhoods), and Trustee Area 2 (Bannon Creek, Jefferson, Natomas HS neighborhoods).
Overview: Do you have a current 8th grader? Join us at for the Secondary Showcase Night. This is a great opportunity to learn about the high school options offered across our community. There will be representatives and students from each of the charter and school district options in Natomas. Come learn about PFAA and ECA options at Natomas Charter School, as well as visit with Westlake Charter, Inderkum IB and CECA, NP3 and more.
Date: October 23rd Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Location: Natomas High School
All student restrooms on the Blackrock campus are outfitted with vape sensors. These sensors are an important tool to help us keep our campus safe, but can be triggered by any aerosol device. To prevent unnecessary alerts and disruptions, please ensure that students do not bring aerosol products to school, including spray deodorant, body spray, hairspray, dry shampoo, etc. Your cooperation helps us maintain a focused learning environment.
