The 2024-2025 school year has been full of positive culture and student success. At Leading Edge, we remain committed to our academic goals until the very end of the year. Let’s keep motivating, supporting, and holding our students to high standards—we know they can continue improving their math and reading scores until the very last day!
As we enter Trimester 3, here are five ways parents can support their students and help them set goals for a strong finish:
Encourage Daily Reading & Math Practice – Even 15-20 minutes of reading and math skill review each day can make a significant difference in retention and growth.
Check Grades & Assignments Regularly – Stay informed through our online gradebook to help your child stay on top of their work and avoid last-minute stress.
Set Clear, Achievable Goals – Work with your child to set specific academic and personal goals for the trimester, such as improving a grade or mastering a new skill.
Maintain a Consistent Routine – Ensure your child gets enough sleep, has a quiet space for homework, and follows a structured schedule to build productive habits.
Celebrate Progress & Effort – Recognize hard work and growth, not just grades, to keep students motivated and engaged in their learning journey.
Support an ECA student’s senior project by donating books to our Book Drive from March 1-30! We’re collecting new or like-new books to donate to the Children’s Book Project, which provides free books to children in under-resourced communities. We’re especially looking for graphic novels, books in other languages, board books, and early chapter books. Donations can be dropped off at the ECA, PACT, or Star front office. Thank you for helping make a difference—every book counts!
All returning students for the 2025-2026 school year must submit an Intent to Return/Registration. Instructions for submitting the online Intent to Return/Registration will be sent on March 17, 2025. To ensure you receive this information, please verify that your email address is up to date in our student information system. The Intent to Return/Registration must be submitted by May 1, 2025.

Experience the power of art and activism at The Intersection Showcase, an electrifying evening of dance, live music, and spoken word featuring dynamic artists from Sacramento and the Bay Area. Engage with nonprofit organizations like All Access Arts, Sac Act, and Three Sisters Gardens, all working to create real change. Join us on Saturday, March 15th, at PFAA’s Outdoor Amphitheater, with doors opening at 4:30 PM and performances from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
