Our Taiko team was joined by some familiar friends as they headed over to Inderkum to jam at their Multicultural Festival. Thank you, Mrs. Bibayoff, for organizing the trip and Laura Allen, our amazing Taiko leader.
Ms. Rae engaged students with authentic learning as they learned new vocabulary and tried on some new outfits!
What better way to get ready for CAASPP testing than with a little Glow Day Test Review! Mrs. B brought the fun, as usual, but always keeps her focus on student academic excellence in mathematics!

Overview: Tomorrow, we invite you all to participate in our eWaste drop-off event, which will take place at our Blackrock campus from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Spring is the perfect time to declutter, and what better way to start than by responsibly disposing of those old electronic devices? Whether it's outdated computers, unused chargers, or broken printers, bring them to our event. It’s an excellent opportunity to clear out your home and help the environment at the same time.
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Overview: The state requires educators to assess students' achievements annually. This data collection serves multiple purposes for Natomas Charter School. It enables students to track their annual progress and mastery of state standards. Additionally, the school utilizes this data to identify which students and student groups require additional support.

Natomas Charter School is holding a Summer Boost program this summer. It is an engaging summer program designed to help students fill in learning gaps in English and Math in order to prepare for advancement to the next grade level. The curriculum will be a STEM and literacy project based and focused on building student confidence in their skills. Afternoon Knight’s Landing may be offered based on community needs.

Details: 8th Grade Student Portfolios are a significant milestone at Leading Edge, symbolizing each student's progress and achievements. They also serve as an opportunity for our community members to participate in the educational process. Panel members play a crucial role in this process by asking questions, evaluating student work, and creating an authentic environment.

Join us Thursday evening at 5:30pm for a BSU family mixer hosted by our phenomenal Blackrock campus student and faculty Black Student Union leaders. Our middle school Soul Steppers will be performing and we are hosting a Teen Summit Panel. This is an opportunity to network with other families and community members and attend the opening of our middle school musical Honk! at 7pm. All Natomas Charter School community members are invited to attend.
Join the NCS community in celebration of our diverse families and community. We will have performances, food, and booths hosted by families to share about their cultural heritage. If you are interested in hosting or working at a cultural booth or performing, please contact chines@natomascharter.org.
