Learning Lab electives continue to provide students with enriching activities and new experiences like 3D printing, DIY crafting, and math games.
Our students were very enthusiastic about studying the order of operations at the PEMDAS Hospital! Nice work Mrs. Barragan and Mrs. Williams!
Our 8th graders are getting ready for high school! We had a great turnout of Leading Edge students at Secondary Schools Night.
October 28: Shed Clean Up (3-4 more volunteers needed)
November 2: Humanities Night - Student Showcase and Community Event
November 4: Campus Beautification Day
November 9: Trimester 1 Ends
November 10: No School
Details: Our ASB student leaders have their own shed on campus, but our middle schoolers could use some assistance in organizing it. LEAP has taken the initiative to contribute new shelving units and storage bins. We're looking for additional volunteers to join us in cleaning and organizing the shed, as well as assembling the new shelves. Whether you can spare 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your help will make a difference. Let's work together to get it done!

Once school is out, students participating in after-school activities should remain on campus without leaving and returning. We've observed some students going across the street to the ice cream truck and then returning to study hall or office hours. This is not allowed. Additionally, we've noticed Leading Edge students occasionally opening gates for their friends. It's important to remember that PFAA is still in session, and we need to maintain a closed campus.
NCS parents have had a strong history and culture of volunteerism. There is no time like the present to jump back in to serve your school community. Our campus needs work and we are looking for at least 20 volunteers from LE, PFAA, and ECA to come out on November 4 for some light yard work. Opportunities include cleaning up branches, planting, moving bark, and trimming trees.
Date: November 4 Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. . Location: Amphitheater
