Simon's overall goals are to make sure that the Nazis don't win the war and to make sure that the Projekt 1065 plans get into the right hands. He is getting motivated more and more because he hears about all the horrible things that the Nazis do from Michael telling him each day. On page 128 the text says "And remember what you're doing this for. To get  close to Fritz and Get Those Plans." Said Simon." That shows that he wants Michael to get those plans. Again looping around to his goal of wanting the Projekt  1065 plans to get to the allies. On the next page (pg 130) the text says " It is over, me and Fritz, the SRD, the jet plans."  That shows that Michael is sad because they won't be able to make sure the plans get to the right place. These examples show that Simons's overall goals make sure that the Nazis don't win the war and to make sure that the Projekt 1065 plans get into the right hands.
