Michael's goals were mainly to get the Plans for project 1065. I know this because in the book after he lerns about the plans he is all was just looking for and righting down the blue prints for project 1065. He wants to achieve this goal because he wants to prove to his parents that he is a good spy but to also help the Allies win the war. I know this because in the book he is allwas talking about either proving himself to his parents or about helping the Allies win the war.
