Simon

Simon is the pilot for the Allies. His plane gets shot down because he was trying to get photos of the project 1065 plane. After he got shot Micheal had to help him so he hid in the barn and Micheal's family picked him up. After a while, Micheal finds out that Fritzhas the plans and tells Simon. Then after a while Simon teaches Micheal Sarah's Game and they use that to get the blueprints copied.  Then Simon had to break the news to Micheal that he had to go. he had to do that because he wanted to go home.  After that, Simon says that Micheal needs to turn him in. After Micheal gives in Simon dies because he would rather die than be sent to a consideration camp and have to tell them all about the plans.  This is the end of Simon. 

Simon is a Static character because Simon is the same funny caring person throughout the book and he does not change like Micheal.
