Designed to keep you in the game, this programme is for players from 14 years of age. It will focus on your general fitness whilst also working on your basketball specific drills, speed, agility and footwork skills.
Each week we recommend you to complete:
1 - 2 x Strength and Conditioning Sessions - General Fitness (30-40min)
1 - 2 x Basketball Specific Drills - Weekly Drills (20-30min)
Learning Objective:
Ball control on either hands while performing different dribble skills.
Exercise 1: Dribbling in Space
*2 sets per hand (rest only after a full set)
Stand in space with 1 ball
Right / Left Hand Dribbling
Stationary Dribbling (45sec)
2 Dribble + Crossover (45sec)
1 Dribble + Crossover (45sec)
Crossovers (45sec)
2 Dribble + Wipers (45sec)
1 Dribble + Wipers (45sec)
Wipers (45sec)
Forward and Back (45sec)
Forward and Back + Wipers (45sec)
*rest for 30sec-1min then proceed with your next set using your other hand
