Position(s): Patient Care Volunteer
Position Description: VIA Health Partners, formerly Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, is a local, not for profit organization committed to providing exceptional end of life care to individuals facing terminal illness. We have been serving Mecklenburg and surrounding counties since 1978 and are one of the oldest hospice providers in the United States. We are currently seeking volunteers to provide companionship in long term care communities as well as respite in private homes. We also offer volunteer opportunities in our nearby Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Volunteer opportunities are flexible and vary according to interest. Training is provided and will equip you will all skills necessary to work with individuals at the end of life.
