Position: Project Access Community Volunteer 

Position Description: 

• Location: Project Access Resource Center at Woodland Estates Apartments (6115 Corktree Court, Charlotte, NC 28212)

• Duration: All year round opportunity, with a minimum requirement of 10 hours of service

• Hours: Volunteers must complete at least 10 hours Flexible, based on availability

Volunteer Role
As a Community/Student Volunteer with Project Access, you will play a key role in helping us serve the community by providing support in a variety of areas. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and gaining hands-on experience in community service, social work, and nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with community outreach and engagement to connect individuals and families with available resources.

• Help organize and distribute donations (food, clothing, household goods) to community members in need.

• Support educational programs and workshops by preparing materials, setting up, and helping facilitate activities.

• Provide general assistance to Project Access staff in running events, workshops, and community-building activities.

• Promote a positive and welcoming environment for all individuals accessing services.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for helping others and making a positive impact in the community.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the volunteer schedule.

• No prior experience required just a willingness to learn and contribute!

• All potential volunteers must pass an interview and background check
