By fostering connections between non-profits and foundations, we create meaningful impact while equipping students with real-world experience in nonprofit work, fundraising, and philanthropy.

Opportunity
Position: Student Participant
Program Goals:
Educate students about non-profit formation, operations, funding, marketing, legal requirements and philanthropy.
Encourage volunteerism and hands-on involvement in the non-profit sector.
Provide opportunities for high school and college students to gain experience in fundraising and community engagement.
Address the funding challenges of small and underfunded non-profits.
Create a platform for students to connect non-profits with potential funders.
Facilitate at least one donation to a non-profit in every NC county by September 30, 2025, tracking progress through a public donations dashboard and regular impact reports.
Establish a sustainable and repeatable annual initiative.
Expand the model to other states and regions.
Develop partnerships between high schools, colleges, non-profits and foundations.
Highlight specific focus areas each year to ensure impactful giving.
