Position: Youth Mentor
Position Description: Seeking youth mentors who are passionate about music, community engagement, and leadership development to support our growing youth-led ukulele club in Kannapolis. Our vision centers on three pillars: learning music in an accessible and joyful way, building a strong sense of community through collaboration and shared performances, and preparing young participants to become confident, compassionate leaders.
Volunteer mentors would ideally have a background or interest in youth development, an/ or the arts, particularly music education or performance. Experience with leadership coaching, organizing small events or workshops, or working with children would also be highly valuable. As our club nurtures young leaders through peer mentorship and team-based learning, mentors could play a key role in modeling positive leadership, fostering creativity, and guiding youth as they develop both musical and interpersonal skills.
