Position:  LEARNWorks Art Volunteer

Position Description:

Do you love working with kids and encouraging them to create art?

The Ada Jenkins Center is dedicated to bridging the educational gap and helping people to create lasting solutions to economic stability (particularly in marginalized communities). The LEARNWorks Afternoon Enrichment program stands for "Linking Everyone to Achievement Resources Now Works." It aims to help students progress towards their grade level as they are often a year or two behind compared to the average student. The volunteers don't need to come every week. The range of kids is from 1 st to 8 th grade (grouped together by two consecutive grades i.e. 1st and 2nd).

Interested? Email alwilson@davidson.edu and complete the working with minors training.
