Mission: The mission of Davidson Farmers Market is to sponsor a weekly farmers' market in Davidson which provides locally grown food, educates the public about nutrition and the importance of eating locally grown foods and offers musical entertainment, special events and cooking and other demonstrations to create a community festival for the Town. DFM’s goal is to create a vibrant community gathering place with locally grown agricultural and horticultural products and family-friendly educational, musical and entertainment activities.

Position Description: We need lots of hands, faces and positive energy to help the Market come to life every Saturday! Check out the volunteer options below – choose what you want to do – and we’ll see you on Saturday morning.
Volunteer opportunities are scheduled a month in advance. Submit the form below and our Market Coordinator will contact you.
Market Set-Up – (7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.) Set up tents for vendors, deliver tables, set out signage, and assist vendors as needed.
Market Support – (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) Help with monitoring the Market by assisting shoppers, counting shoppers, and assisting Market Coordinator as needed.
Market Support – (10:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m.) Help with monitoring the Market by assisting shoppers, counting shoppers, and assisting Market Coordinator as needed.
Market Takedown – (12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.) Assist vendors with breaking down tents, tables and signage, and returning everything to the Market shed.
